TO meet up, or not to meet up?

Re: TO meet up, or not to meet up?
I'd prefer Thursday but could probably do a Friday with a fair tide and a following wind.
(i.e. if we've got no family activity planned for early on Saturday - I can cope with a commute when I'm a bit fuzzy round the edges, but not sure I'd survive the terrors of two small children....)

Ok, so you guys decide to do this on the last thursday of each month. (I used to belong to such a club in UK called last thursday).
Now, are you aware that last thursday of March, I'm in fricking Orlando and no where near Toronto? 2nd thursday I'm supposedly in Ottawa.
You guys will either have to move that march meet to another day or I will have to fly out a week earlier than planned. GAH!
Now, how are we going to solve this problem?

Just a quick update on my housing status for those who I was talking to last week:
I emailed a guy who was advertising a place for rent in a building I like, Friday, asking if he'd sell.
Saturday he said yes and we agreed on a price.
Sunday we filled out the paperwork.
Thursday, I can move in!
So, I get a place 5 minutes walk from work instead of 90 minutes on transit and I dodge the pesky increase in Land Transfer Tax.

Sorry Richmond Hill didn't work out for you (but please don't forget that when you first came to this board you were looking at Maple, which most surely would've been worse).
Hope to meet up one of these Thursdays in what will be by then virtually your local pub.
Cheers.

Shhhh, or David Miller will try to find another way of getting the cash out of you.
Congratulations. Forgive us though if we don't give you a 'Son's of Glyndwr'-style housewarming. Nothing like coming home to a real fire (as an old British Gas commercial used to say).

Hmmm....seems like a good reason to celebrate. I know a good pub we could go to!

Being as I only recently 'aquired' my driving license it fell on the better half to do all the driving while I drank myself silly.
I'm just too young and hip for Richmond Hill right now, but maybe I'll be back in a few years.
