After Las Vegas, (Republicans - guns are not the issue and Trump - let's not politicize things by talking about guns now) - really I am numbed by the mass shootings in America.

What a sad, sad country.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Should read..

"A hopelessly regulated gun culture being necessary for the insecurity of an insane State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms and slaughter their neighbours shall not be infringed."

Daily occurrence in the US. We should just have a mass shooting thread for people to comment when it's more than say half a dozen people.

The US ought to declare a war on the devil.

Regardless of anyones views on gun laws in the US, compassion for the injured and the families of those killed is my only response.

I'm horrified by every incidence of mass shootings.. and in these troubled times, it could just as easily happen to any one of our members or their families.

IMHO, it's not something to make light of.

How would they ever recognise it?

It certainly isn't...the only thing that people feel a bit aghast at is why?

These damn massacres have happened time after bloody time in the States and every politician who is seeking election, or anything after election wants to protect the right of every red necked nutter, every right, or left wing bigoted Christian, to carry arms...this surely has to be tackled as a national matter?

But it's not a gun situation. The President himself said so.

Plenty of Americans think the same. Was just arguing that very point in the USA forum in relation to the LV shooting. It's amazing how warped people's thinking can be when it comes to 2nd Amendment rights.

He was an internet troll.

"The Los Angeles Times reported that in recent months Kelley had started adding strangers from the Sutherland Springs area as Facebook friends and picking fights with them."

I heard on the radio this morning that with 27 killed in that town, it represents 7% of that town's population. That is insane.

It's so shocking and sad and unnecessary.

BUT WE MUST HAVE OUR GUNZ. /rage
