Careful people the virus in the U.K. has mutated it can now count.
rule of 6 has come into effect, if there is 7 then it can get you. So if your a family of 5 your children’s grandparents can visit but only one at a time or it will go over the rule of 6.
unless your living in Scotland because the virus has mutated there too it doesn’t get children under the age of 12 because they dont count to the rule of 6 law.
So your children’s grandparents could visit there as long as your kids are under 12.
15 people died in the U.K. in last 24 hours.
On average Between 2018-2019 17,000 people died in the U.K. from the flu about 46 people per day.
was we in a pandemic then ?? We probably didn’t realise it. Stupid us.

Where are the hundreds of thousands who have died gone? If it's a hoax presumably those folks think those people are hiding somewhere?

I just don't get how anyone with a minimum of a basic elementary school education can think it's a hoax.

drinking ?? Common sense I think. I didn’t make the rules the U.K. government did.

im not saying it’s a hoax just overly exaggerated and excessively policed in my opinion.

a 14 year old kid in Spain was dragged to the floor and the cop was knelt on his neck because he didn’t have his mask over his nose as-well as his mouth. Pretty appalling anyone would think he had a machine gun walking through town.

I agree, mask wearing does seem to be over policed in certain countries, but don't forget that this is new territory for 1st world countries. They haven't been used to this type of thing since 1918.

God knows what would happen if some of these non believers spent some time in hospital wards in Malaria countries. I agree that a healthy person catching COVID is nothing like a healthy person catching Malaria. I think that's part of the problem. A lot of people think it's just the flu bro. Which it is. It doesn't kill a child every 2 mins like Malaria does so not everyone is in panic mode.

I had to read your original post 3 times before I could discern any coherent thoughts from it

Families stopping to talk in the street would be in breach of the rule of six restrictions, the home secretary has said.

I said similar about the 3 year old mask incident but got a lot of flack from others who believed this is all OK in the "new normal" society we are living in.

You asked - "Lets say you were sat in row of 3 and you didn't know the other two and they both lowered masks to eat/drink just for a few minutes would that be an acceptable risk to you?!
And I replied - "Since that would be normal behaviour and I'd be doing the same thing, yes. The other 90% of the time is more important."
So my statement was correct then? You said nothing different in this post or did i miss an important point? Oh the 90% is that what you mean. I guess that's a reduced risk, maybe it's 80% who's to know. Fact remains as far as i am aware the virus is carried in droplets that masks are supposed to prevent you and I spreading and the longer the close contact the higher the risk. So no mask and 6 ft minimum is ok or mask up and get close.
Remain very close and remove mask not so good!

I don't know anyone who has had Covid. One daughter had malaria, another had SARS which is, I suppose, as close as one can get to Covid. The SARs was much more serious, long time in intensive cars, real risk of death. I'm not trivialising malaria, that's a serious disease, but I don't see how it comes into the picture, it's not going to kill 200,000 people on this continent.
