Masks
How many of you are wearing masks when you are out and about? Do you think we will be required to wear masks in public now they are talking about lifting the rules? I don't know whether I should bother getting a washable one or not, maybe worth it for future air travel??

My wife wears one when she goes into stores. I don't as we only have one.
California requires masks when in certain public places, well a face covering, mask, paper bag, you name it people have done it......So wouldn't be shocked if some provinces require it at some point, but who knows.
I have decided not to fly until either there is a vaccine or it dies out on its own/no longer a major issue. I hate things on my face, and couldn't imagine wearing a mask or face covering for hours on end in a plane.

I don't believe I am infected and, that being the case, why would I wear one? Transmission is via droplets so, unless you intend to go somewhere where you believe someone will spit on you, why would you wear one? Washing hands is far more important.

To me it's such a little thing, such a small contribution to the welfare of others that it seems ridicuous not to contribute to the greater good.

I don't sneeze at people, I don't spit at them either. What do you believe wearing one is actually preventing?

From what I have read masks are not to keep you from getting sick, but to keep you from spreading it to others and help contain your droplets.
That is what BC CDC says anyhow on their website.

It's more of a I've seen the sign for Costco and the requirements for flying, is this going to become widespread. If it is I'll order a cute one, off of one of these it takes forever and a day but is cheap places.
I had to wear one at the Dr's the other day. Felt like a numpty and it gets hot pretty quick, so would rather not wear one.

I am aware that lots of people will do whatever they are told without question. Fortunately, there are some that ask questions and obtain answers.
Again, if someone could point me in the direction of the science that says that their use is required, my opinion may change.
Are you able to explain why remaining at least 2 metres from others is not sufficient?

Haven't worn a face mask yet. Seems likely they will become a requirement, although the real purpose does appear to be to address mental/anxiety/control illusion issues.
