Re: Maps of Toronto
We have a fabuluos pop up map of toroonto that I believe we picked up from waterstones. It is just a bit bigger than a credit card and it folds out to a reasonable size mao. It then folds in , in a single movement allowing for discrete "where the hell am I" checks without screaming "TOURIST"
ISBN 1-84587-504-4 www.mapgroup.net OOPs , no good as a road map but a bleedin' good tourist one , may be of use to someone, somewhere |

stu-pot They are available all over the place but are printed by Map Art. We soon learned that the grid system of roads here makes navigating real easy. Once you learn the main roads / intersections and get your sense of direction (which roads run North South etc.) then it's easy to get to places as people talk in crossroads - "it's on the North West corner at Bayview and Broadway which is one block North of Bayview and Eglinton". This is a GM dealership, and would be very easy to find once you have the hang of it. It might not make sense now, but it will. Rob;) |
Re: Maps of Toronto
There aren't any maps of Toronto.
It's one of the charms of the place. <what sort of question was that, anyway> |
