Man's Logic
Yesterday whilst driving my MIL back to Calgary airport  My hubby got pulled over for the 2nd time in 3 weeks for speeding.
He was fined $238 (the 1st time he was fined $177). His comment to me (whilst I'm trying sooo hard not to mention that he has been pulled over for speeding for the 2nd time in 3 weeks). 'At least it's more exciting than getting caught by a camera....You get a light show and everything.':blink: |
Re: Man's Logic
He knows the signs aren't miles per hour right?

Re: Man's Logic
Yeah he does! his second line of logic was...
'Oh I know! It's because it's a weekday! We are usually only out and about at the weekends.....' Work that one out! |

Do you get points for speeding in Canada like you do in the UK and if so, how many before you lose your licence?

That could be a very expensive light show.

Because so far it hasn't slowed him down. As for getting points Flo&Jim. The 1st time he was stopped he was threatend with losing his licence as he was that far over the limit (over 50 clicks over the limit). I think if you challenge the fine at court you have a greater chance of getting points, so far he has escaped that. |
