Actually drove it to Hazeltown this weekend. Rather nice it was too (the car not Mississauga, though Streetsville was quite quaint). Back to the bus tomorrow.

I quite like Streetsville too. I was going to google Hazeltown, but luckily the light bulb went on in time.

Batteries get brought into the laundry room in the winter so they don't freeze, rusty bits are oohed over and I now know the names of different wheels. Car interiors are put in the storeage room/attic depending on house.

On the basis of what you said about the tires in the store you have to say the OH was right...

ahh yes - stores along those lines have testosterone warnings at the door - and the one place that a woman could run through it naked and not one man in there would avert his gaze from the gun, fishing rod, quad, bow, boat or whatever they were looking at.

You should have brought it down to Bronte Creek park yesterday. Good turn out for the British Car Day - I'd say well past the 1,000-car mark in the field. Hundreds of Triumphs (the show is run by their owners' club), MGs, Minis, a fair few Austin Healeys, lots of Jags (the E-type is celebrating 50 years since first production), a couple of dozen Morgans, plenty of AC/Lotus/Caterham/Jensen/Sunbeam/Aston Martin, a quite remarkable number of De Loreans, a smattering of Rolls and Bentley.

Here are some Morgans, and easily the most vulgar car at the show: I mean, a white 70s Silver Shadow is bad enough, but stretched?

Whilst I agree a stretch Silver Shadow is pants a normal sized one isn't - specially not the one sat in my garage at the moment:p

If I were to show OH the pics it would be another plus for moving to Ontario...

Bugger, I forgot all about it. When I last thought about it it seemed so far off. Sounds good!
