Is this so different from something like the EB5 visa for the US? Put down wad of cash, have it tied up for a period and welcome to the country. 4% administrative commission doesn't sound unreasonable.

Canada has the start up visa and self employed route to get PR status.
Note: To focus on processing the applications we already have, CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications under:
the immigrant investor program
the federal entrepreneur program

I wonder how fast they process those applications in retrospect to mine?? Seeing as i only paid €150 for my application whereas these people will be paying €1 million
