Making America Hate Again Ladies?

Did any of you go to the Washington Dump Trump marches today? Even Fredericton turned out in full and the "pussie warriors" (it's a pink knitted hat) were everywhere and had been knitted for our statues! A great bunch of women on the streets in full throttle...for a moment I started to believe that this might have re-ignighted a spark that might be worth it?

I came home to find that my 86 year old neighbour had stuck a big pink Women Unite poster in her window

Perhaps a joke doesn't have to end badly?

Just to say that it's quite important to google exactly how you typed it.

If you have a Y at the end instead of ie or miss the S of the second word you'll get something quite different.

Fortunately nobody was within sight of my screen when I did it.

It all seems like a bit of anti-Trump hysteria to me. Especially the marches that take place outside the US. Nevertheless, everyone is entitled to protest, and I'm no fan of Trump so I'm bemused by it all.

I believe there were a lot of Raging Grannies on the east coast, activism can unite generations like that.

I agree, well, with 87% of that. In some twisted way I suspect that President Trump will take protests against him outside the US as evidence that his "America first" policy is working.

I've not been watching the news, has there been an incident to prompt these women's rights marches ?

The inauguration of President Trump on Friday, that's all.

I see thank you, is he looking at repealing women's voting rights, equal pay or anything like that ?

It's all very WTF

Do women think he is a serial rapist or something? Sounds a lot like mountains and mole hills to me, and my wife thinks the same BTW. As do several other females I know, but that's not that many lol.

No, not at all, and in fact he has a good record of employing women as managers at his companies and paying them fairly.

He made some rather inelegant, arguably offensive, comments in an interview with Howard Stern more than a decade ago, and possibly some comments in an interview published in Playboy.

I think the biggest mistake Donald Trump made might have been agreeing to be interviewed by Howard Stern, but looking for political policy statements in an interview with Howard Stern is, IMO, delusional!

Well lots of women like him so there is a large divide here

So why was there no protests when Bill Clinton actually did have a sexual relation with another women while he was president !!

I had no problem with Bill's antics, it was when he lied to Congress I had the issue.

Well there were protests but the women did consent. AFAIK. If they didn't it's unforgivable.

Trump said
"I'm automatically attracted to beautiful [women]—I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

No consent there.

The marches were in support of human rights, equality for all, including, women, gays, immigrants, men, etc. Much of Trump's rhetoric inspired hate speech, and this was to counter that.

An important reason too for the march was the proposed defunding of Planned Parenthood limiting access to birth control, gynaecological health, abortion.

Thanks for the clarification Bats

Well Would it not have been more beneficial for women, mothers, mothers to be, Hispanics and so on to just vote Clinton ?
