Mail Order Bacon
Ok so I have just read the comfort food thread and I'm dying for some proper bacon. Anyone know of a compnay that does Brit style bacon and does mail order?

We took to buying the "back bacon" aka pea ham and at least it is the meat and no fat. This is in the bacon isles of most stores.

Look on the web for your nearest British store, we have recently found some back bacon called Ayrshire Bacon in the local Thrifty;s in BC but dont think you have them. Safeways have also has a similar type, but not all the time. Ask any butcher, closest is what they call pea ham ( meaty bit , no streaky end ) http://www.petesfrootique.com/british_butcher.php

Also in your local Brit Store, you may find Ayrshire bacon or the Belfast Ham is a cut we are familiar with.
