If your G&T is diluted to the point of noticeability by melting ice, you just need to drink faster.

I always keep the gin in the freezer.

Its a large one. Gin in the freezer is a good tip for Martinis (or Gibsons for those that dont like olives)

Also keep the vermouth in a small oil can, not previously used for oil, this way you can squirt just enough vermouth into the mart.

Overcomplicated. Just put a little vermouth into the triangular glass from the place in the freezer you keep it, swish it around a bit then dispose of the vermouth as you see fit (down the hatch if that's your thing). Now add the pre-chilled gin and whatever bit of fruit or veggie turns you on (as it were).
