Looking out of the window this afternoon

we've seen local kids, aged 10-12, peeing in the neighbour's bushes and a middle aged woman who couldn't be bothered to pick up after her dog on the same neighbour's garden........ Guess that's the price you pay for living in a French neighbourhood!

I'm in an office in Louisiana bereft of a window at present. The cajuns might be peeing outside but I'll never know.

Maybe you'll be able to tell when you step outside?

I'm not at all comfortable with the implied stereotyping in this post.

Just saying.

I thought your tendancy for inadvertent urination was a factor of old age, as opposed to the time you spend in France?

Given the OP's concerns about the French influence, perhaps I should tread warily.

I always urinate advertently irrespective of domicile or ethnicity. How about you?

I can see sunshine and blue skies, I know it's crisp outside from letting the dog out, I shall go and get chilly in a mo' as I take him for a walk and then spend the rest of the day in an over heated mall, not seeing any sort of outside until about 5:30pm, when it will be cooling down again:thumbdown:

Sunshine, blue skies and a brand new playground that's not quite finished.

I hoping it'll be ready for use on Friday as we have all three of the grand-kids that day and they all know it's being built and are looking forward to playing on it.

I know!

It's been really nice and warm outside today (I can tell by what people are wearing) and the heating has been on in store so it's actually been warmer inside too. And we're supposed to be wearing layers and sweaters and all that sort of stuff.

I want to learn Holistic Therapies - y'know the hippy weird stuff, classes all over the place in the UK, not so here:thumbdown:

I think I'm going to do a book keeping course instead for now, not quite the same but will be useful in time with a bit of luck.

Sounds like you need to move West not East.

It's all under consideration, the pull of England has thankfully retreated and now we know we are going to go somewhere else we can poke up with a few more Albertan winters:fingerscrossed:

Anyhow, back to topic, same view as yesterday but with cloudy skies, supposed to get upto 24, so no doubt will overheat in the shop and judge what the weather is doing by the clothes people wear (and whether or not they actually buy:huh:).

There's gentle autumnal breeze massaging a few fluffy clouds in a picture perfect sunny Vancouver morning. Who said it rains a lot here?

This afternoon I have been mostly looking out of the window of aeroplanes. Currently I am looking out of the window of the Irish pub at YYZ T3.
