I filled up yesterday at 1.17 - I heard on the radio that gas went up in Saskatoon. It's now $1.21 or something like that in Regina.

Not sure why it's that much less in Toronto than anywhere else.
Look on the bright side, I paid 99.9 pence yesterday for petrol, I can't wait to pay Canada's prices

Why? When you have less fuel efficient vehicles, gas costs more here when expressed in real terms as a percentage of your income...you cannot think in £ to $ comparisons. $78 to fill a tank twice a week is over 25% of my pay cheque each week!

I paid 102 this morning which was unexpectedly less than the last tankful. No special services were offered.

Heehee I have a stash of half a million Amex points. One day, when I have outlived the incumbent, I'm going to blow the lot on acts one would hesitate to ask of a professional.

I find this amazing have to admit and have been following you lot over the pond with this thread.

Personally thought that this would only affect te bigger places like Calgary and Edmonton but having just spoken to Phil he said that the gas prices in Lethbridge have also gone up 4 cents in a day

Dont tell the English petrol stations as they might start doing the same and our petrol is near enough £1 per litre at the mo - they would all be rubbing their hand together at the prospect of making a few extra quid for a bank holiday weekend.
