Witnesses said a vehicle struck several people on the bridge, and photos showed a car plowed into railings.

At least four people were lying on the ground on Westminster Bridge near Parliament, some bleeding heavily and apparently unconscious.

One woman dead on the bridge, and an officer injured in the HoP before the assailant was shot by the armed officers. being treated as a terror incident until more is know, but given the place it was it would seem that a terror incident is most likely.

The perpetrator managed to run down a group of French school children before being shot.

That's ironic, given the up-coming French elections.

99.9999999% of the worlds population would agree, but there are a few that support this sort of hatred and carnage :(

I think that many 9's = "one in a billion", which severely underestimates the magnitude of the problem. Given issues in a number of countries I would guess nearer to 99.999% (1 in 100,000 or about 70,000 out of 7billion). I fear even that may be an underestimate. :(

Pleased that attacker was shot dead, it was annoying seeing him on an NHS stretcher potentially consuming scarce resources. Surprised that the policeman victim was unarmed, given the high profile location of parliament.

The attacker was British born and on Mi5 radar, the latest news says they have arrested several people linked to this chap.

8 arrested, and the car was hired from the attackers home city, Birmingham
