And it's a true story, not pulp fiction.

National, but I don't care. How nasty is our Governor General? If she can send staff crying from meetings and must belittle at least one employee at every debriefing, then maybe we don't need astronauts in a largely ceremonial position.

She should probably resign from the position, if she is treating people this badly.

Local story from Vancouver, Mama Bear has been reunited with her owner after being stolen.

98% of Alberta doctors have no confidence in the health minister.

Sounds like doctors are not happy in Alberta.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmon...poll-1.5667412

"The association, which represents more than 13,000 doctors in the province, said nearly 98 per cent of 8,900 members who cast ballots this week expressed a lack of confidence in Shandro."

I do wonder if BC teachers and first responders could afford 1-2 million dollar townhouses.

"With prices ranging between $1.1 million and $1.9 million, the developer says these homes will be offered to West Vancouver residents first, specifically local first responders and teachers."

Due to changing market conditions, the mansions originally planned appear to be no longer viable, so 67 town houses instead.

One reason it can be hard to grow a food garden when renting, even when someone tries, often the management company will not permit it, and demand the plants be removed.

That's ridiculous - the balcony next to his looks a total disaster but that's ok (despite the rules) but his isn't because he is growing veggies - tall green plants - crazy!

The neighbors balcony was pointed out in all the online comments too...first thing I noticed, well I'd rather have the plants than whatever that other neighbor is doing on theirs.

This is why relying on transit in a mid-size city is never good.
