Learning to fish / hunt
OK, so this might sound like a silly question, but does anyone know how one might go about learning to fish?
I dont really know anyone that fishes, and it's something I'd like to get in to, and when they're older, take the kids too. I've never done it before, but want to try and get in to more "outdoorsy" things ... like killing and eating stuff... :D |

Try these guys. OH took some fly fishing classes with them a couple of years ago and they should know of any other fishing lessons/teachers around your area.
Tight lines! J :) |

I go fishing quite a lot, but you don't really have to know much about it, you just get the guide to tie up the equipment, clip it to a thing called a down-rigger and sit back a drink beer. If a fish bites, the guide sets the hook, gives you the rod and you try and not lose the fish. Its not hard at all and jolly good fun.
