I suspect you'll need to buy a whole lamb and have it butchered to your own requirements. I have done so in the past.

Because I used to help butcher lambs, (and as a graduate of the Canadian Forces School of Administration and Logistics), I feel qualified to respond.
Butcher 3 sheep and make 4 equal packages of shanks.
You‘re welcome.

You‘re welcome.

What if you only have 2 sheep, or 5 sheep, or any number of sheep that does not make a multiple of 3 in terms of legs?

P.S., I think I am qualified to make this comment.
I have never butchered a lamb and know nothing about Administration or Logistics, but I am a Primary school teacher so I do know my three and four times tables:p!
Also, I am a Zoology graduate and know how many legs a sheep has.

I have never been in the Canadian Forces, though.:o

Re: Lamb Shanks

To make packages of 3 shanks from any number of sheep not divisible by 3 the butcher simply has mutton for supper. For some reason the pigs I buy at the farmgate all lack tenderloins and I don‘t think they‘re mutants! Otherwise it‘s a good deal so I don‘t mention it.:)
