Kudos British Passport (Washington)
 

Just wanted to give credit to the UK passport service in Washington after they pulled out all the stops in renewing my passport in 7 days. I had an urgent situation where I needed my passport asap and they came through.

I had help from the Dartmouth consulate in Nova Scotia and also the lovely Clare in the consular section of the Ottawa High Commission.

Passport application along with a cover letter explaining my situation was sent in last Thursday, received on Friday and was examined/processed and sent out on the Tuesday.

I`m so relieved and after collecting my passport this evening at the UPS depot I immediately hit the travel agent and booked my flight.

I think I will sleep well tonight!
