Calgary weather is the strangest I ever experienced. In a two hour period it went from -13 to +10, snow, hail, rain, thunder and lightning and finally full on sunshine. Wish I could have recorded it somehow, other than the letter I was writing to my mother at the time. She didn't believe me how varied and quickly the weather could change until she visited. Snow in July happened almost every year. Before I moved there my SIL had told me of this and I hadn't believed her. The good thing about the weather in Calgary is if you don't like it, wait a few minutes.

Considering the temperatures yesterday were in the 15C range all afternoon it is entirely possible that said snow never reached the ground.

Weather office didn't report any observations of snow.

Looked like it was wet when it hit the ground, likely because my office is so high its a little colder up here

Altho on my drive home yesterday there were a few people calling in with snow and hail in their areas just outside the city limits.

I'm just glad the sun is out to play again today

Why? you missed the 60's and early 70's - possibly the best time for young people in the history of sex.

25th June 2007 we had just moved to BC and were staying in Bleech's place in Big White. We woke up to a foot of snow.....only six months off being a white Christmas!
