I shall raise a glass in your honour because I'm just kinda like that. Thoughtful and giving, modest and hopefully just a little bit drunk.

I would like to come but I keep finding excuses at the last moment. I was ill once, moved house another time...I even have an excuse for this one...my son's 22nd birthday!!!!
I don't think he'll want his parents around to be honest so I'm gonna make a huge effort to come along as I would love to actually meet you having "known" you for 6 years! lol
So I'll surprise you, or disappoint you...depends how you look it!

Another time, another place perhaps.

Haha, he probably won't even know who we are by early evening! lol
No idea whether it will be both or just me. Hubby's resort is one of the venues for the Pan Am games so it's all going to be getting busier and busier... He has to have some down time occasionally so will try to drag him along too! Hoping to meet you guys too.

So we are definitely a go... Husband is not working which means that he can look after the children at the hotel while I come out... On that subject what is that hotel called again?
Is there some sort of Canadian age limit on children in a pub? . I was thinking my husband could say hi and have a pint early on (5 ish) before taking them off to the hotel...
Where's schnooks? Has she contributed to this thread and I missed it...

I'm out of date on the children in pubs rules, I'm sure they'll have changed several times since it was of interest to us.
Glad you can make it.

I have seen children in pubs/bars (most of them out of town like Caseys etc are for families) so I assume it is fine. It is obviously uncommon in that part of town.

I'm here, sorry! Not been around much the past two weeks as we have had company!
Mr Schnooks and I will certainly be there, it's in the calendar, wouldn't miss it! Will be sad to see you go, Novo... Certainly a few drinks will be in order!
I'll be there at my usually early ish time.
