Just noticed on Judy's latest post that Judy in Calgary needs to change her screen name to Judy in Nanaimo! The change of air hasn't impacted the high quality of Judy's posts though...

I had a lovely drive from Calgary to the coast. I fully admit that I behaved like a wuss and did it over two days (Setpember 15th / 16th). But I certainly enjoyed the more relaxed pace that that allowed.

As you pointed out in another thread, the weather in the Calgary area (and indeed in Southern BC) has been stupendous. So I saw the scenery at its best.

Woke up this morning to see the sunrise over the ocean. Actually I'm looking at that very scene (but without the sunrise, obviously) while I'm typing this message. What a treat.

I've always fancied visiting Nanaimo just because of the bars. (Chocolate not beer). ;) Congrats on the move. I think I'd struggle to live without being near the ocean so I'm sure you'll appreciate it.
