crickets are in the summer, the peepers are little frogs that you hear in the woods near damp areas that make "peep" noises

This is an odd year I think. Last weekend I did a bottle drive with Cadets in the snow
It's May tomorrow, and I'd love to say its going to get better for all of us...but unfortunately the country is a 'bit' vast...

cold again today. Saturday was 22C, Sunday was cold. Its hard to tell when the cold will disappear for summer

It was warm and sunny at the end of last week. I put the horse's blankets in the car with a view to having them cleaned and putting them away. On Sunday I took a blanket out of the car, with my gloved hands, and hung it back on the horse. At least I hadn't paid to have the mud removed.
