its feeling a little day after tomorrow like
I just read this on a US friends FB post:
Wildfires burning all over the west and pacific northwest.
Catastrophic rainfall and flooding in Texas.
Cat 5 hurricane about to slam Florida.
... All we need now is a tsunami, earthquake, and a slew of mid-western tornadoes and our disaster bingo card will be filled.
Its a worry, but hey, the orange guy says that global warming is a myth..

GPWM. Obviously CNN and The NY Times made the hurricane up. I hope Donald gets a "wonderful crowd" on his next visit down there.

Its been a wild summer.
Worst fire season on record for BC. Previous record was in 1958.
Another smokey day in Vancouver.

There is a lot more timber available to build an Ark in BC compared to Texas.

We also tend to not get tropical storms or hurricanes.

I empathize and hope people are as safe as possible. It sounds very Day after tomorrow, you're right Howefamily.
I can't help but feel a little selfish though. We haven't had a holiday in a while. We're due to go to Cuba on Sept 23rd. Wondering what might be there for us. 😢
