No, my son doesn't have a car (his g/f does but she works 3 jobs) but I am doing ok, I sent out for smokes (sigh, yes I know) via dial-a-bottle (well worth the $7 delivery charge) and I still have lots of food in from Christmas and then a friend stopped by tonight and dropped off a bottle of wine and some chocolate (what a good friend!) so I am all set!
Thanks for all the kind thoughts, they are very much appreciated.

I wouldn't get too excited - more bad weather on it's way.
http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/index_e.html?prov=son
Sunday is expected to dawn with snow falling over most areas. As the deepening low approaches, the snow will become heavy over Southwestern Ontario Sunday afternoon and over the remaining regions Sunday evening. It appears the snow may change to some rain around Eastern Lake Erie and Lake Ontario as well as parts of Eastern Ontario later Sunday evening. There is also a threat of some freezing rain in these areas. It should be noted that any freezing rain that occurs will have virtually no impact on hydro for those areas impacted by the recent ice storm. The precipitation will taper off overnight Sunday, but persist into Monday morning over Eastern Ontario.
Current indications suggest that regions north of a line from roughly Leamington to London to Barrie to Pembroke will receive snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm. Amounts will likely be closer to 5 to locally 10 cm south of that line.
In the wake of the storm, bitterly cold west to northwest winds will return on Monday, producing blowing and drifting snow in areas which receive the most snow from the storm. Furthermore, intense snow squalls are forecast to develop off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay Monday and persist into mid week.

-28 right now in Regina, low tonight -35. I'm not complaining, I saw the news and there's people getting blown apart all over the world. This is easy.
