My goodness, all you freezing folks out there. Here on Vancouver Island, the sun's shining, it's about 7 degrees above, no snow, and I'm sitting looking out at all the crocuses that have been blooming in my front garden for about a week. Tons of daffodils, grape hyacinths, and tulips also popping up although not yet flowering. Been picking celery and kale from my
vegetable beds as well. Anybody else got anything growing or are you still having trouble seeing the ground?

Makes me want to pull the old....."if don't like it here then, go back to where you come from" nonsensical line

Ahh don't start me
If I could, ultrarunner, i'd be on the very next plane home. I don't like it here too much. I even have $2,000 saved specifically for that ticket, in a savings account, and I don't spend it on anything else. But being 15, I don't really have that choice... So for the next 3 and a bit years, all i've got is whinging, unfortunately.

Hoe did you get on this board if you are 15....there is a minimum age requirement of 16 ...I keed I keed

I have to commend you for having that much wonga saved at your age, sound like you have your head screwed on proper...wicked

Thank you! Took alot of effort and little chores around the house, but its nice to know I have that plane ticket in the bag already. It doesn't stop there though, part time job is on the table for this summer, yay!

Ugh
I have alot of those at my school. I was entrepeneuring from about 13 fixing peoples computer issues and babysitting their kids, and before i knew it bam $2000. Its easy to do something, if (as you put it) you get off your todd and do it! Its like emigrating, if you really want to get that permit, or get into Canada, you'll do it
My peers just need motivation
(or a swift kick in the arse from their parents)
