Quebec's national anthem, for all intense purposes.

We've had a big thaw for the last few days. Even turned the heating off yesterday.

Everything's melting here, and will freeze into ice tonight. There are shingles scattered along the road from the 90+km/h winds today, though I don't think any are ours. Had to tighten up the screws on our swing because the wind had shaken some loose.

Now I almost know what the early Antarctic explorers felt like when they were complaining about the winds down there, except the still air temperature was 60C lower than here .

They say it's going to go from unseasonably warm + temps back into the deep freeze, and right now the wind is a-howling over Regina. I'm not a bit surprised.
If the entire graduating class of Vassar were laid end-to-end, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Its getting quite a bit lighter every evening hopefully we've broken the back of winter and will be into spring very soon.

In the cartoon 2 cavemen watch the sun go down and one turns to the other and says, "There must be hundreds of them down there."
