Imagine a treadmill under a plane

Imagine a massive conveyor belt is running underneath a plane, The plane is designed to match the speed of the conveyor belt exactly but moves in the opposite direction. The plane engines are running at take-off thrust, the brakes are off, etc. Everything is normal save for the fact the treadmill is under the plane.

When the treadmill stops what happens to the drinks trolley?

Discuss

The trolley stays still, the wheel speed isn't connected with the inertia of the plane.

The question IS though what happens to the boobs of the trolley chicks?

NOTHING...The drink trolley is securely stowed for take off:sneaky:

The real question is WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO THE NEXT PERSON WHO STARTS A PLANE / TREADMILL THREAD?
