If you could move on...
...where would you go now to live? You've got enough to keep you going for 6 months.

Mars. Musk better hurry up, because he's going to have a long queue of people wanting to get off this crazy planet.

I'd still like to live somewhere around Nice, France but if I only have enough for 6 months I suppose it would have to be my last 6 months.

South West France, around the Arcachon area.
Would have to have enough funds for 5 years though...

with a view like this, a bakery nearby and maybe a bar as well...within striking distance of the Alps, home games for Nice and Monaco and without some of the crazy coastline prices.
and beautiful scenery like this nearby

I would stay in Canada but would move to either Halifax or Tofino and open a café/kayak tour centre

Noumea, New Caledonia. Not quite as isolated as French Polynesia and it's larger. Although it does rain a lot there so I might have to have somewhere else to escape to.
Main downside being too many Australian tourists.

You can keep French Polynesia, I wasn't impressed when I was in Tahiti for 2 weeks, 33 years ago, I had the worst food poisoning in my life after our first night (as did the family we met up with).. though the Cook Islands were lovely and the people wonderful, as was Fiji and the Fijians.
