I love living in Canada, because?

Of days like today, 30c forecast, not a cloud in the sky, bank holiday week end, gas in the tank, boat hitched up and fresh water lakes all around.:)

Nice weather here too, has been for a few days and the forecast for the week is looking good.

If you must know, I'm only wearing my shorts right now and I'm still feeling a bit hot (both indoors and out).

No doubt our Vancouver residents will be along in a few minutes to tell us how much better everything is out west

Loving my long weekend near Calgary too.

Weather has been mostly great the last couple of weeks - the landscape is green, things are growing in my garden, finally got the lawnmower started, the skies are gorgeous and no mozzies quite yet.

I do love living here very much when there's warmth in the air - from May to first week in October, it's really lovely! :p

Mozzies are out with a vegeance in Airdrie this afternoon. Just got back from a long bike ride with the kids and as usuall I am itching all over despite being throughly doused in Deep Woods :(

Otherwise it's just perfect here today.....

It's only my second full day here but my reasons for loving living here at the moment are:

I have the beach at the end of my road
Nearly all the other customers in a coffee shop this morning started a conversation with me
I have never seen such gargantuan sized beef tomatoes.

Welcome to Canada, glad you like it. We might have a little snow in the forecast here. :frown:

My pool is open, i can hear the pump going. Its hot outside, I went to my daughters school picnic today where I was surrounded by polite youngsters. The propane bug magnet seems to be doing ok in mozzie control (so far) The sky is blue, the sun is dazzling, the lakes on the way home glittered.

Its stunning here

Left Nfld just over a week ago with spring yet to sprung and arrived back on Tuesday with trees in bloom and the lawn needing to be mown. And the bloody blackflies out. The season I will mostly be wearing Eau d'Muskox.
