Not far short of a riot in Montreal last night. The Habs' first goal was perfectly good. Everyone watching the game, on TV or in the arena, saw it and knew that it was good. Except the referee.

The Habs fans were not pleased. They only stopped throwing stuff onto the ice when the Habs were threatened with a penalty if they didn't.

I know where the quote comes from. I fail to see what it has to do with Canadians. I can only imagine that it was a pathetic and failed attempt at humour.

Sadly you're right. The goal was blatant and it's a shame the supporters gave in when they were so clearly wronged, is what i should have said.

I don't watch much ice hockey but the chants lack any creativity or imagination. I watched some the 1st Canucks payoff game last week and nobody mentioned that their two best players are gingers.
