Terribly late (I can't sleep!) and you are either already clingfilmed to your lampost (I once went past one poor sod who had had this done to him! it was in East Leake in Nottinghamshire of all places!) or fast asleep in bed..

It went relatively smoothly but it was a close call. Our original plan was to do it on the 7th but the notary's office didn't file the paperwork in time. The notary was very apologetic and told us to name whatever day we wanted. We picked today. He doesn't normally work Fridays but agreed to this once.

He had clearly forgotten because the receptionist gave us a very funny look when we announced ourselves. I guess he doesn't live far away. He showed up 30 minutes later.:o

The deed is now done (and he charged us rather less than he quoted us).

PS - what are you doing on Expats? Shouldn't you be, er, otherwise, occupied consummating, er, deeds ?

Or at least checking the showing times for this afternoon's visit to the Cineplex?

She didn't sleep well last night, so she's having a snooze. We're heading down town in an hour or two.
