I've lived in Toronto on and off now for 15 years but my younger sister is over here on a working holiday visa and hasn't had an easy time in securing a decent job because of covid-19.

Well after 4 months of trying to get something in her field she has but its up in Huntsville ON... beautiful place as its cottage country but can anyone recommend where she can find decent short to long term rental accommodation.... since its cottage country its not easy at all, its all holiday homes??? any insight ?

Nice - my niece lives in the area... It might be worth contacting some of the 'vacation' smaller places and see if they would be interested in a long term / mid term tenant, as the tourism industry isn't working at the moment - they might be glad of the income.

Sioux, thanks so much, my sister and I really appreciated your detailed reply. feels like a lot of the places in hunsville are not advertised. she found a place through a friend of a friend, and moves up there in sept. looks like i'll have a place to stay now in cottage country and a family member !! finally after 15 years of not having it!

next issue is a car, she young and doesn't want to spend a lot but i told hmmm its not the cost of the car, its the insurance !!!
