I don't remember it being this hot last year, but then again I was visiting the UK. Today really was too hot, I really wanted to buy a pool.

Well it's 9pm, and it is still bloomin hot, in the 30's at least, 40 with the Humi, 1 more hour (Started at 5:30 a.m.) and i can drive home and get out of my car. The things we do for money ehh. Drunk 3 ltrs of water and on my second tee shirt. It is ow so hot, and there is more heat to come. (And No i can't have the air con on all day as it would give away my position in the street) The person we are watching has stayed in all day, very flippin sensible if you ask me.

The good thing about where i am today is there is a unsecured wireless network nearby. Ohh yeh and all the electric went of round here, West Toronto at 4, so 250,000 folk had no air con and some poor soles where trapped in elevators for hours.

Not a spy exactly, more an Investigator in the private sector.

Can be long hours without a break, not normally an issue, but the heat, well that don't help. They said on the radio on my way home that the Humi was 40c still, at 10:30pm, and tomorrow it will reach 44-45.

Rain forecast for the week end, i guess some things just don't change.

It is the norm for July. It's called the dog days/canicule. It only lasts for a few days. People forgot about it because we haven't really had it for several years. The last few Julys have been relatively cool (mostly below 30).

Yesterday was similar in Ottawa to Toronto, apart from the lack of smog. Today through Thursday will be similar. The humidex was at 37 by 8am this morning.

I love my air conditioning.

Days like today are what Toronto summers are famous for. Thankfully they only happen no more than a week or two a year. Last year we had none, it was a lovely mild summer. The year before, only a few.
