Thank you both for your thoughts - the river flowed over but didn't get higher than a foot deep so didn't get inside any flats. Gone down now and left a black sludge over all the walkways - and of course the cats have been out in it - so now we have muddy paw prints on everything! :eek::mad:
Oh well, it could have been worse - we are lucky, many were not! :(

It was a horrible day today my feet got soaked need to try and get some wellies. I've just came back from North Berwick and drying off my feet as they are freezing.

The weather here in NS is hot hot hot with humidity on top.

Okay, so I may well not be climatised yet (I am from Scotland ye know ;)) but I am puggled. No aircon in the house but we have an air exchanger which doesn't quite cut it in my opinion. I had to sleep on top of my sheets last night.

Thank god we have a pool. Last night the water it was 83C and thats with no pool heater.

Take note - I am not complaining about the weather - just my house. If it was cooler it would be sooooooo much better :p

Woo hoo..we are in our SECOND day of wall to wall sunshine and blue skies...better get outside quick this is probably our Summer!!!:eek:

Yikes, knew it was hot today so placed my outdoor thermometer outside and this is it's reading indoors 47C. It's even far too hot indoors :eek:

Thank goodness there is a breeze outside :p
