Default How's the weather in Drumheller?

Just watching the news and it sounds like it might be quite wild out there.

I'm worried now - blue skies, a bit blowy but nothing to worry about

Have we got a tornado watch again (slept through the whole shooting match last night!!!!!)

Oh poo left my houseplant thats kind of nearly dead outside this morning to get some fresh air - if anyone sees it being twisted across the Alberta skies - don't worry its mine (it will look brown and dead already)

Edit to add that I note the original post was for yesterday afternoon!

As Drum is in a big valley the weather tends to stay "up top" as it were and we get sheltered to a degree from the worst of it. However there was a bit of panic from the "locals" yesterday that if a twister hit it is likely to stay in the valley til it dissipates which has apparently happened a few times before.
