OK I was bored.
Since 2001 to 2010 there were 70,185 UK citizens who became PRs.
The UK was the 4th most popular country behind the Phillipines, India and China.
There are no figures on how many went back or moved elsewhere.
These figures dont include UK citizens over here on work permits, study permits or visitor records and have family accompanying them.
This link has all sorts of statistics about numbers, age groups, demographics and countries but alas no figures on how many brought over a dog or a cat.
