Houston - Day 1!!!!
 

Hey Guys!!!

Well, the flight was long and delayed on the way over, but arrived local time of about 4pm. Brother picked me up, got back to his girlfriends, and then we had some wine and then went to dinner in a great Indian place near by!

This morning brother had to go to his office, and so the girls got up late, and were then collected by bro to go to a wine-ary north of Houston for the day!!! So today we tasted about 12 different wines (no spitting out!!!!), and had an amazing lunch afterwards in their bar area.

We then went to the outlet mall on the way home for some retail therapy, and I'm just home now and drinking some wine (not the stuff from today tho) whilst brother cooks and I do nothing - bliss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow I'm going to do nothing again but may lay out by the pool if it isnt' too hot - today its' 105 degrees :ohmy::ohmy: and apparently not humid (could have fooled me!!!).... But these white legs need to have the blue tinge taken off htem soon!!!

So guys, I'm still here keeping in touch, and having a great time so far, just wish I could stay here a bit longer but I can't!!!!

So how were the goodbyes or is it still feeling a bit like a holiday?

Hi Ann, well I'm enjoying things alot here. Brother is a bit of a wine snob and so coming over is always a joy as he's always so excited to try different things and who is one to complain :rofl::rofl:

I can't see a hic smiley but they should get one!!!

Hello You!!!! I've missed you, as I've not seen you on here for ages!!!!

Goodbye's were very tearful and it did seem real. However I'm having alot of fun doing sweet FA here in Houston so I am in holiday mode.....:) Who can complain tho..

I know getting a job is paramount in Vancouver, but at the same time I don't want to get bogged down too soon, without enjoying it. I have the ability hopefully to do that so I'll get work but I won't rush into anything!!!!

How's things with you MMC?????

Hey B you old loafer things are great - lots to do at work thats why I haven't been about, goodbyes are always sad but you've done it so now enjoy all the attention!

I'm flying back to England on thursday and staying with the lovely lady with the paddling pool and grape farm next door overnight - some other BE'rs may turn up so hoping it will be a goodun!!!

I was thinking 2 bottles of elplonko and feet in a washing up bowl - don't need to go too flash ;)
