This is the CMHC web site dealing with insulation for homes. There is also a wealth of information on the site and it applies across Canada.

All three sites will give you a wealth of information in addition to the site mentioned in the previous post.

Having built my last two home to conform to the R2000 program I know how difficult it can be to find the right information. In this country adding insulation is a money saver and a no brainer.

Check out your individual provinces programs for retro fitting and upgrading. You might be surprised to find that some of the costs will be covered.

This is the right time of the year to do these upgrades. Cooler days mean you wont fry yourself putting extra insulation in the attic.
