Hotel v B and B

I haven't stayed in any B and Bs for years. When you book a hotel room for a week, so far as I know you own the room and you can go back and forth any time you like. But what about in a B and B? Once you have had your breakfast, are you supposed to disappear until bed time? Is there an unwritten rule about this. I haven't read anything on any b and b websites, but I was just wondering, if you had your breakfast and fancied sitting around all day and reading a book - can you?

Just wondered if anyone knows how it works usually.

We've never had any problems doing this, but then we've only ever gone back to our room in the daytime for an afternoon shag. Perchance the noise discouraged them from turfing us out.

That's perfectly acceptable in a B&B during the day. But don't expect your electricity to be on, or there to be any hot water for a quick "gentleman's wash" afterwards.

If the room is booked for few days, it's yours. You can read (or shag) to your heart's content. One would certainly hope that staff would knock if coming in to change towels, clean, etc ... and the sounds of Bazzz's 'noises' or the sight of his hairy arse would be enough to put anyone off methinks.

Hang on! Whilst you're right about the hairiness, I've been told I've got a rather attractive derrière, thank you. I imagine that if were interrupted by a young lady in a maid's outfit her natural reaction would be get so flustered that she'd only want to join in.

Yeah.

Although she might be wondering why I'd saved some bacon from breakfast.

A sudden noise brought bazzz back from his reverie and he resumed his long wait for the number 9 bus. He looked around and saw that most of the passengers in the line-up were giving him quizzical looks

That bitter cynicism of yours is something you've acquired since you left Radcliffe!
