Hotel/B & Bs in Victoria?
My dad arrives Sunday for a fortnight - yipeeeeee
We are thinking of taking a ferry over to Vancouver Island next weekend and were thinking about stopping overnight somewhere in Victoria?
I wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere for us to stay...there are dozens of Hotels on the internet so I am relying on word of mouth really.
We would need 2 rooms (one for family of 4 and one for dad and step mum) and I dont want to pay too much - being a tour guide for 2 weeks will be expensive enough especially during spring break.!!
All advice and recommendations welcome..

We stay here when we go to, it's quite comfortable and nice harbour views.

We stayed at the Chataeu Victoria Hotel last year. It was just around the corner from the museum so pretty central and had a lovely swimming pool for the kids. It also had free off road parking. Don't remember what it cost but if we booked it, it must have been fairly cheap!

Great minds eh?
Royal Scot has been recommended already - but its fully booked.!
Gloveman, I have looked at the Chateau Victoria = $250 for 2 rooms which I think is reasonable..will discuss with my OH later..the pool is definately a bonus with my 2 water babies.

It is very handy for most things, the pool was very nice and the hotel was very clean and well decorated. They have an underground car park which is free so parking is no problem. If you try booking through hotel.ca it might work out a bit cheaper. Have a good visit.
