Default Help, what do I do?

Just saw someone (P) out front parking between two cars. It was very tight. Car P kept hitting both of them front and back, until they got in.

Have never seen such idiocy - who do I call? Or should I just leave a note on the windshield of one of the other cars (One is a Car2Go)

Police administration number? Tell them what happened.

Can you get photos of the car, licence plate, and how it has been left between the two cars - without that info the police won't be able to do anything.

Thanks. I got the pics of the car sandwiched in between, then the Car2Go car just left so I took a pic of that. I wrote down the car plate. Will see if the back car is damaged before I call police otherwise it would be redundant.

Never seen such idiocy (thank God) - these are people over 30. Idiots.

You can't trust anyone over 30.

When I came here I saw that cars had enormous bumpers and no one could drive very well so I thought people parked here as they did in Paris. My first car was an Olds 98 Regency Brougham which was about 20' long; I'd look for spaces of 18' or better and bang it in. My cars have changed but no one has yet complained about my parking style.

I think the OP is being unduly precious; Vancouver is not a place where I'd expect to be able to go for minutes without a bit of bumping.

Vancouverites are indeed precious. Once, parking, I only gently tapped an old Merc parked outside a restaurant. Before I got out of my car its ridiculous owner (who had been sitting in the restaurant window) ran out and went ballistic about me "hitting his car" and threatening to call the police. This for the most minor of unintentional bumper to bumper nudges.

That's why they're called bumpers!

The problem is they don't use that name for them here - it's "fenders". We've grown up with "bumpers" and so its ingrained that they get bumped

unless one of them was my vehicle, I would mind my own business & I'd let someone else get all freaked out over it..

'Just for laughs'

Great to see so many fellow BE'ers happy to damage other peoples' property

And even better to not care unless it's "my problem".
