Help with T4's - are we resident or non resident???

Hi
We arrived in Toronto in February 2010 on a TWP. My boyfriend (Rob) has a contract working for a company here and I (Julie) have the common-law spouse working visa. Initially we were given a 8 month visa, which was then extended until Sept 15, 2011.

I have been working for a couple of temping administration agencies and so have 3 T4's based on me being a resident here. I earn a very basic hourly wage.

Rob's company pays into his UK bank account (the company has offices in the UK and Canada) and they have deducted 15% tax from him every pay.
He does various contracts for his company and so has received a T4 for each contract (but we have not got them all yet). However his T4's are T4A-NR. I assume that being paid into a UK bank account is irrelevant as he is working here.

We both own property in the UK (separately) which are rented out. Mine just has a family member living in it, Rob's has a proper tennant which he pays UK tax on via his UK accountant.

We are confused why his T4 show's T4A-NR whereas mine don't - Does this make a difference?

IMO, and based on what you have described, resident from February 2010.

So should I ask his employer to redo his T4's?. Any idea if the 15% already deducted is going to be enough & what information will he need to provide?

Also, can anyone recommend a tax person in Toronto to assist?.

sorry for the questions...
