Heathrow to N Wales

Re: Heathrow to N Wales
Tube it to Kings Cross/St Pancras and then catch a fast train from Euston. Without knowing exactly where you’re going it’s a bit difficult to advise further but if there’s two of you then investing in a Two Together card will save you a third, even on advance fares, and so will likely pay for itself and then some.
Maybe it's just me being daft, or perhaps the Friday afternoon travelling, but when I looked at the 2 together railcard, it showed zero saving on the trains I selected, but thanks for the advice - all suggestions are welcome!

You can’t use it during the morning rush hour but it should work at all other times.

What time does your flight land? Mine typically comes in in the morning. From memory a weekday daytime drive along the M4 is pretty pleasant for the most part. The trip might not involve the insanity you are envisaging depending on the time and day you arrive. Just a thought....

Eventually booked coach from HTW > Birmingham & train rest of journey.
Net cost = about 1/3 of total journey by train, plus save on car hire by hiring in N.Wales.
Thanks to all for the replies and Merry Christmas.

Thanks Siouxie, I looked at all suggestions, and not wishing to bore you all, we chose what was best for us, but you all had ace ideas. If I were travelling in a group of 4, I'd go for the taxi suggestion

Taxi? Oh my, that would be horrendously expensive, not something I would consider personally.
