Healthy living 2020

Re: Healthy living 2020
Well I try not to drink in the week now, and unless I have a bad day at work, I normally don't.... just on weekends! I I also eat healthily now....but still enjoy the bad food (see dave_j's list above) which I class as treats at the weekend
As for exercise....I was very regimented for over 20 years, gym and boot camp classes 3 times a week never missed one....unfortunately due to a change and circumstances in life,....try as I might, I just cannot fit it in any more....long story! But I am hoping whatever has changed will allow me to get back to it again soon.......
I think you appreciate healthy living more as you get older...and we are all so much more educated on the things we should stay away from.....that said....weekends are made to be bad.....you have to live a little!

I've been getting on very well with PiYo workouts offered by beachbody.com - costs $99 for a year's membership and that gives you access to thousands of workout routines, including things like T25. I really like the PiYo ones though, they're great for core strength and flexibility.

Well I went and bought a second dumbell to go with the one OH found in a car, so I can be balanced now, but the old whiplash injury has reared it's ugly head again so that was todays fitness out the window. Booked in Cranio on the 19th, earliest appointment arrgh.

Anyone in Canada do Park Run? I've done a few in the UK, it's a non-competitive 5km park run organised entirely by volunteers, usually 9am on Saturday morning.

5km is my limit for running, it's not my favourite exercise, but my wife has done a couple of marathons.

Had a week skiing in Austria which was definitely hard work, though offset by the schnitzels and wine. Back in Germany where Frau Merkel just announced that 60-70% of the population would likely catch the virus. That's about the same as my own thoughts, albeit that most people even if infected will have no symptoms.
