The Haudenosaunee, also known as the Iroguois Confederacy, have, after many attempts, had their native issued passport accepted for travel to the UK to participate in a world lacrosse tournament.


The Haudenosaunee, founded hundreds of years before the arrival of Europeans, previously had to travel on Canadian or U.S. passports.


Permission was only granted tho' after the UK got assurances from Canada and the UK that they would be able to re-enter the US and Canada.
