Happy Canada Day!

A lovely idea for a holiday, and the previous three that I have spent here have been jolly, laid back, pleasant events. A very inclusive celebration.

Our weather is nice....

A very happy day to you all::thumbsup: Enjoy!

And a very Happy Canada Day to you also and to all ex-Pats here. Unfortunately the Toronto area is going to experience some rainy/stormy, cooler weather but party spirits will be high here, despite it. Our flags and bunting are out already, the pool is clean and well heated so we plan to have fun no matter the weather.

Happy Canada Day to you all!:thumbsup:

Have a great day, I have celebrated a few times here in the UK, the best being the Canada booze cruise on the Thames

Happy Canada Day to all everyone!

  :drinkingbeer: :drinkingwine: :drinkingpals: :egyptian:

the weather in Vancouver is cr*p. I wanted to go to the Okanagan but left it to late and all the hotels are sold out so its downtown today and camping out in chillwack tomorrow.

last year the weather was awesome and I went with friends to Bowen Island and then watched the parade downtown.

so excited to know this is one of many more Canada Days as a Permenant Resident (although I have'nt done the landing yet).

And a happy Canada Day to all.

Mine is less than pleasant. I'm working, it's about to piss down and my cat finally succeeded in her attempts to cripple me.

They say: "thanks for the day off".

Just like most Canadians.

I'm not even Canadian, but this morning I put on my red top and said "thanks for the day off".

Happy Canada Day everyone.

Chilly today. People have been staking their place by the lake for the firework display at 10.40pm. Fortunately we have a ring side view.

I think the bad weather must just have been in Vancouver itself. We spent the afternoon watching a Bhangra band in Surrey and then a stroll along the promenade in White Rock. Warm and sunny in both places.
