Haper's Hollow Victory
According to the Current on CBC this morning http://www.cbc.ca/thecurrent/
Harper will only be in power until May 21st 2012.
This is because it turns out that that is the date of the Rapture when all believers alive or dead will ascend into heaven leaving the rest of us to cope without them.
Based on their election platforms a rough count suggests that the Tories will be reduced to a rump of three MPs (John Baird, Rob Anders and Jim Flaherty, who are all devil-worshippers).
The GG (assuming we still have one) will have to ask Jack to form government).
What a pity, but this does explain why Stockwell Day didn't bother to run this time. He already knew all this well in advance of course.

Not being a citizen of this great nation I didn't have the option. Whatever happened to "no taxation without representation"? I did however instruct my UK proxy to vote against another liberal this week. I would expect to be here still.
