Welcome to Canada, Harry and Meghan! Here’s how to fit in with us Canucks
Parkas, ice hockey and a modest Toronto mansion – the runaway royals can make themselves truly at home among us

But wait! Do they have enough points on the CRS calculator to be invited to apply for PR from the Express Entry pool? They can't just rock up and hang out when they feel like it - or do any work without a permit!

I considered it but decided against putting this in the maple leaf as, although tongue in cheek, the piece was still about adapting to Canada and might have thrown up some useful suggestions - like the mention of coats and hats.

But no matter. Another of those grey areas.

I'm sure someone can put in a good word for them. Or one of them. If she's not still 'furious'

I can just see Meaghan serving you with your double double or asking would you like fries with that although she would probably have to change the conditions on her work permit if her last one is still valid.

Yeah Im not a huge fan, but it seems to be a prerequisite to be "Canadian" in many circles I mingle in....so Harry and Megan had better get on it if my experience is anything to go by..... I have been brainwashed by my friends....its all they ever play!! "locked in a trunk of a car" has become a classic loud sing a long......lol.

I firmly believe if it wasn't for cancon regulations, their success would be greatly diluted. I never cared for them...to me Tragically Hip, Nickelcrud and Bryan Adams don't do anything for me musically.

I've heard of Tea Party, they were a U2 knock off. The wife beating one used to live down my street. Also Rush, one hesitates to celebrate a death but the end of production of their songs is welcome.
