Greetings from Vancouver Island
Hi everone,
Well we are now settled in at Parksville and the weather is great here.
It was a tad foggy and rainy while we were in Tofino but it was great to see the ocean and be able to walk on the beach.
Chipmunk at Field near the Spiral Tunnels.
A foggy walk on the beach at Cox Bay.
Some more pictures available here: http://www.pbase.com/hangman/parksville_2006
Cheers
Steve

What you might call a handyman's special or a little fixer-upper.
What do you think?

I'm sure it has a light and airy feeling inside.
Maybe its the camera and not the photographer. Somewhere along the line I have to get me a Digital SLR

Hangman - fab pictures - as usual.
Ref your 'little fixer upper' - love it. Quiet neighbourhood, the roof needs a little work, good ventilation though, and have you thought of adding an extension?!
Perhaps the whole thing could be submitted at an art(y farty) gallery ?! I mean, some bloke recently showed at the Barbican his 'shed/boat/shed' thing to great acclaim. This could be 'driftwood on sand' and might earn you an absolute fortune. Now all you have to do is look up the website that's on another thread about how to pick your house and move it across the country - sorted !

Just been playing around with a series of shots I took of the coastal fringe at Cox Bay. I put them together as a panorama now I wonder what it will look like as a print.

Unlike yours which is so talented that you could bottle and sell its gaseous by-products.
