Good riddance (EA and all that) !
Finally, it seems the protestors will be moved from Ottawa. What a sorry saga it has been. Hard to understand why the Emergencies Act had to be invoked to actually effect it, but I suppose the Fed eventually lost its patience.

Like an updated version of Braveheart without the deaths and Scottish accents. FREEDOM.

I listened to a frothing cradle ranting from the barber's chair this morning. Apparently Trudeau has used his powers under martial law to suspend US investment in Canada but it'll all be ok when the Republicans retake the House as that will be the end of him.

Nothing worse that white middle aged frothing cradle. Pure scum!

I feel that cradle Canadians understand Canadian and US politics like I understand Coronation Street and East Enders. The general impression is a bit vague and sometimes the plot and characters from one gets mixed up with those from the other. That's what Fox wants, of course.
Fortunately, one rarely has to deal with them.

Interesting piece. Not sure if the Canadian flag has "matured" or simply been sullied ...

This was somewhat amusing and a bit of an embarrassment for the protesters

I've never heard the accent the protestors have. It's awful, as if they were retarded Minnesotans. Is that the voice of the overland; MB SK AB and such?

e.g(9) Glen McGregor on Twitter: "I was doing a live hit with @MSNBC this afternoon when our crew was mobbed. One guy actually spit at us, others called us Nazis. MSNBC had to cut it off almost after it began. Then they chased us down the street to our bureau. https://t.co/K21NIHgGCS" / Twitter

A free press is the enemy of modern conservatism, they have to discredit it by suppressing reports and denouncing facts as "fake news". Otherwise Trump, Johnson, Bergen et al will be made to look ridiculous.

I suppose the question is whether any real penalties will be handed out. From what one of the lawyers on the National was saying last night, as first time offenders with no record, leniancy will probably prevail.

They were only exercising their First Amendment rights, as Tamara Lich's husband explained (perfectly rebutting the idea that all schools in Canada are equal and the education is adequate).
